Guests at dinner in a warmly lit restaurant

Chesapeake cooking, done slowly.

Crab cakes with no filler, oysters from the bay, and Sunday suppers worth staying late for. In Fells Point since 2014.

Our story

A neighborhood kitchen with bay water in its blood.

Saltmarsh started as a twelve-seat counter on a cobblestone corner. We still cook the way we did then: whole fish broken down in-house, crab picked every morning, and nothing on the plate that doesn't need to be there.

Bring the family on Sunday, a date on Friday, or yourself to the bar any night of the week.
